Depends on how heavy your load and what kind of terrain. I have one in a T450 that does great job pulling 80,000 lbs on the flat prairie. If you have hills, find more cubes. Never had any trouble with the engine, but it's never lugged and always plugged in if its below 45 or so. Gets 8 mpg loaded one way.
