Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | We have used the Radar Output to Raven with success as you have noted. We have not tried it with the 8100.
I believe that the 8100 needed an extrnal interface (to slow down the signal) when used with a true radar gun. It would seem that this interface would also be necessary with the simulated Radar output from the the EZ-Guide Plus.
Are you using some type of interface or are you trying to go directly to the speed input connector?
We had a customer who tried using the Radar Output directly to an old Raven console that was not designed to work with Radar without an interface box. It sort of worked in that they could get somewhat resonable speed by using an extreme Cal Number (very small in Raven's case) for the speed. This did not work well until they utilized an interface box. |
