| Washington National took over Conseco last year. I know a couple guys that had Conseco's heart policy and collect . Both turned around & bought new policies. My wife is in the process of filing a cancer claim with them. So far they have been very helpful as far as answering questions on filling out the forms. We'll see how cooperative they are when it comes time to payout.
I will say it's not a replacement for health insurance , more like a supplement. Payouts are based on set amounts for different procedures and are paid directly to the insured, not the doctor or hospital and are not tied into what you're ins company pays. Money is your's to o with as you want. | |
