Here are the results from a MESZ test I completed for the ISA program this year. The only difference between trials is the hybrid type, everything else was identical.
The Custom blend is equal units of K and P using MAP with 100 lbs AMS and NO zinc. All apps were fall broadcast applied.
In short, the MESZ does work, but regular MAP/DAP with some AMS is just as effective or a little better. It would just depend on pricing and availability.

I added the AMS in my custom blend as I didn't think it was a fair comparing MAP vs MESZ as it contains sulfur and zinc. I wanted to figure out why the yield was improving, in my case it was solely from the sulfur addition.
