Macon, IL | Everybody loves to hate #1. Look at the Deere bashers....same thing.
I think when you call people stupid for using Monsanto products or Deere products, or wahtever you really are overlooking the obvious. Most successful farmers evaluate products and buy them based on best return for their farm. Maybe it is Deere for resale, or closest dealer, maybe it is Monsanto because the traits work for them.
Doesn't mean it works for you, but give some credit where do....those companies that are #1 got there for a reason. If their stuff didn't work most farmers are smart enough to quickly shift their loyalties to what fits the bottom line. Example-Pioneer corn used to #1 around here and people were super loyal to it...now their share is pretty small. | |
