I took my stab at this question in a short blog this morning. Very interesting question about the general direction of the seed industry the past 20 years but probably doesn't have much impact on today's crop production decisions. That is unless a farmer has decided he will no longer participate in genetically modified seed and I assume that farmer would be rare indeed.
