Subject: European vs North American tractors

First of all, thanks Nic for the great pictures. Still hope to go there sometime when live is not as busy with little kids!

Seems that these days you can buy 2 tractors. It can be heavy and long, with a big cab and long skinny hood. It will run down 30" rows on row crop tires and with duals or even triples it will be wide.
Or you can buy a shorter, lighter tractor with more driving comfort down the road. The hood will be shorter, but also wider. Row crop tires at 60" are not possible, but with some wide tires it will still go down the road well.

Of course there are Farmers in NA that like the euro tractors, but that is usually because they spend more time on the road with them.

John Deere has the definately more euro 7R and case only sells the small frame magnums in north America and a CVX in Europe. Seems fendt and claas are not taking the NA market very serious...
