Thank you for all the replies. The engine has a hole in the side of the block so I will be looking. I have a 329 in a 2840 and hope that I don't have to settle for that engine. My 329 is not a great starter in cold weather and has never been since new. Is the 359 any better for cold weather starting?
Is a JD 359 engine a common engine?
