Oregon | 1) Our distributor (Chevron Oils) has a special pivot gearbox oil that is not only the proper weight, but has a special additive to help deal with water- which is the bulk of the problem. I'd wait to talk to your distributor and see what he has for your area. 2) We wait until spring that way we can drain out any water than has accumulated in the boxes over winter. Your boxes are probably better than ours, so it may not be of benefit to wait. -Mike | |
