Saronville NE | Ive heard the same as Cliff, our 5250 has been pretty bullet proof, just little things, I think in 2k hrs, I have owned the tractor would be hardpressed to have spent $5k on it, its been PTO seals, pressure sensors on the tranny, have put bout 6 of them on, a bearing went out in a front axle pivot, a a couple oil leaks thats it. Got a neighbor with a MXM190, that they bought new, it has bout 3k hrs on it, he told me they have spent more money on it since warranty has been up, then there 7120, 8930, and 5088 alltogther after 6-7k hrs a piece on them, the 5088 got traded for the MXM.
Buddy was telling me last nite, that there JD mechanic tells them the same thing, to stay with the late 00 and 10 series, anything after that is and has been trouble and more work to work on. | |
