| Paul, sometimes what has helped me in the past is to take an inventory. Write down what you have, don't focus on what you don't have. It may be health, family, friends, job, etc. Sometimes it takes a drive around the neighborhood, or into a large city to realize what you do have.
Focus on the positives, help someone out that is worse off than you, eat healthy, try to get plenty of sleep, and remember there is a whole world out there, look past you backyard.
Realize I don't know you, but I did care enough to reply to your post. There are a lot of others out here that do also.
