MT, gets wrongly blamed for the hammer method of marketing. Would wager that the hammer ave. selling price for corn and beans for 10 crop was closer to the top than the bottom $7.75 ave for corn and $14 for beans.
Where the hammer screwed up big time was wheat, didn't allow a bu to be sold.
As far as 11 crop hammer hasn't sold anything yet, but is starting to get in a sell mode, for corn and beans.
