| As 2011 draws to a close, I think it is appropriate to honor the best poster ever who no longer is with us at NAT. [Thank God he lives on at Agriculture.com - that site has use again].
Beyond a reasonable doubt, he is the greatest poster that ever appeared at NAT [with all due respect to Coup and plowboy who have been consistently great over the years, kagon, pofarmer and others as well - always worth reading].
Undisputable fact - he made nat readers more money in the past couple of years than all of the posters combined.
Yes he had his faults - we all do. He did not lack for confidence and he would tell folks bluntly that they were wrong. Some people can't handle being wrong. And in due time, we all are. But, the great ones have to have a certain degree of arrogance to hold true to their convictions. The fact of the matter is - he is right.
So, ignorant fools drove him off. And you know what, the marketing page is not worth reading since he left. Who are we going to listen to: Agtrader? REally?? Get real.
So, thank you Mizzou Tiger and I am glad that you live on at Agriculture.com where I go to read marketing now while enjoying the Machinery and Crop talk pages at NAT. Don't get me wrong - I love NAT and read it faithfully.
Happy New Year,
