I drive an 05 with VED12 and 10 speed autoshift. No way I would give it up to drive a KW or Pete. Drove a KW with Cat before and the jake in the Volvo is 10x better and quiet as well. The Volvo rides nicer than the others and milage is good. The one I drive is set at 435. The downside is the electronics can be problems in the earlier models and you need to get them from Volvo.
