The original Zombie used the complete drive train from the Datsun 1200, including the transmission. The 10 second Zombie uses a 9" ford axle with a locking diff. No transmission but the siamese motors electrically shift from series to parallel configuration at higher speeds. I doubt you could see the shift, may not even feel it.
