| The 65 has a built in water filter. I'm not a long term owner/user but I love the plasma. Mine is the hypertherm 65. I told the sales guy I wanted the biggest one my Bobcat would pull. It won't pull it set on 65 but its adjustable down to 40 so it works both in shop and on the Bobcat.
A side note if you get the 65: Just got mine back from the shop. It needed a new circuit board since " the plug was wired wrong" I argued with the first "phone" guy as I had been using it all summer. The actual repair tech explained that the box had 3 phase capabilities but would run on single even though not wired right but would draw more current---overheat. When I bought mine the sales guy wired the appropriate plug for my genset but apparantly him nor I either one read the specifics (assuming it was covered in the book). On single phase the red wire isn't used but mine was wired red and black to line. Should have been black and white to line. | |
