Thanks for that post. I was going to ask about DeKalb 62-97 as it was the best corn just south of here.

I know the Steyer's and they are good people. They were selling seed out of Tiffin, Ohio when I was planting Bird which is near them.

Now Bird and Denzler out of Indiana near Beck's have merged into First Choice and I deal with them.

I have not planted Steyer corn or soybeans but I have walked fields they were planted in and I saw no problem with their seed. I have planted their wheat and they have a big lineup of wheat in Ohio. I have also inspected their wheat for certification purposes, they had an excellent new wheat near me this year.

Other than that I can't answer the OP's question.
