NE Iowa | We were in the same boat two years ago. Ended up buying a stx330 with pto & 3pt. Luckily found one with row crop tires already on it. Paid $140,000, 2006 with 1200hrs, we've been very happy with it so far. Pull a 24 row planter, put it on the ripper this fall when the other 4wd was tied up and might switch to a 24 row side dress bar in the future.. Neighbors think were crazy but its very universal and cheap compared to a MFWD. I really like it on the planter, sit up much higher so you can see everything, easy to get in/out of tight driveways, haven't had a wet planting season with it yet but it would be a plus then too.
