The problem was it wasn't over 700 acres. Granted it was spring so my memory is a little fuzzy but on the prescription maps if I wanted less than 50lbs it put 75 or 100lbs on as that was as low as it would go.

Now that I think about it, it was 10 ton more, not 5 ton because it was about a $4500 extra in the budget that I didn't want to deal with. I didn't pay extra for soil sampling to have lime and fert spreading just whipped out there willy nilly. I might as well have set the old pull type at 150# an went on as ususal. I have found that I am using just as much fertilizer and lime as before but it is getting put where it needs it, or at least it is supposed to be.
