| My wife the veterinarian is looking over my shoulder and saw this post. This is NOT certified advice because you are not her client, but she suggests cutting any dead tissue off(doesnt have blood supply, looks and feels like leather). It will heal faster this way. The dose on the bottle for penicillin is way too low. She can't say more there. The label dose of LA 200 works fine (4.5ml/100# every 3 days).
