Lapel, In | Had my choice betwen a new 1969 55 Corn Special and a carry over 1968 105 EB that had been the combine we robbed parts off of that year when getting parts was a problem, plus it had set out all year. Either one for the same money and with the 105 put back together,$12,500.I chose the new 55 Corn Special. Took it right home and parked it in the driveway of the burb where we lived in town. Waxed it right there. The wife was a town girl and probably could have killed me. Didn't matter, I was too proud of that thing and too young to know the difference. She is used to stuff like that now. lol,bob | |
