Central Iowa | We have run one for about 5 years. We really like ours which is a 527B. You need to run the shanks about 12 inches to make sure you get fracture between the shanks. That is the downside of any tillage tool with wider shank spacing. Speed is the key to making the tool perform the best preferably in the 5.5-6 mph range. If the levelers are set properly it will leave the ground very smooth. We pull ours with 240 HP and wouldn't want any less. | |
