EbertFarms - 11/29/2011 05:45 Always personally get a kick out of the no replacement for displacement comments Ole. People familiar with Cummins are used to 1500rpm, then hop in a Deere and complain at no power when Deere/Detroit designed the engine to be ran at 2100rpm in lug conditions. I've wanted to run a QT for quite awhile, but don't see many around here in the flat country of EC-IL. Not sure i could give up 25mph transport speeds on a 4wd wheel machine for (what i can only guess) a track machine might do at 18-20? I'm sorry Dave but there is still no replacement for displaement as Ole says. Run a anything else but a 12.5 sometime and you can see what I mean. Personally, I love the big engine in the cats for the time that I've spent with them. |
