East Central South Dakota | What ever advantages coops have of having a monopoly or a huge footprint in grain are diminished or pissed away in operational inefficiencies, poor management and a lack of markets to sell into. They have to eventually sell to Cargill, Bunge, ADM, Dreyfus or Gavilon eventually so why not just wipe away the inefficient middle and let the farmer sell to these people direct ? |
