Near-north Ontario, French River | Redman, you must not have talked to any Ontario producers. By and large most wheat producers in Ontario are glad the changes took place. As you know the wheat board wasn't abolished here in Ontario only its monopoly was. Growers still have the CHOICE to market through the board if they wish, or outside if they please. I gather that's all most western growers are asking for... the CHOICE to market as they wish. I don't see how you can possibly disagree with that argument, you'd still be free to market through the board if you like. |
