Southeast Florida | You might want to be careful about how you pursue your choices. You just posted “I can buy a 7230 with low hours for very close to the same $ as the 7520 with 3500 hours”. Is the 7230 tractor you’re looking at a Premium or plain 7230, there’s a big difference there. The 7520 will have the Premium package which includes PFC hydraulics, and the plain 7230 will be open center hydraulics. It’s next to impossible to put any technology steering on the plain tractor and it doesn’t perform well with a loader either. Both of my 7230 small frames are Premium tractors and they cost $15K more per tractor that plain 7230’s do. | |
