| amething here. It's gotten to the place that I seldom go into the local TSC store as they never have what I'm looking for. Maybe they're OK for horse feed & such but that's about it.
I went into it a few yrs ago wanting to purchase a new intake/exhaust manifold for a SM tractor I was restoring. Clerk said they had ordered one in for a guy but it was cracked. I asked to see it & it was "cracked" between the outer two bolt holes on each side of the intake side. That was the way IH originally made them but most after-market ones are not that way. I tried to explain that to the clerk & that I would buy it the way it was but he said they couldn't sell it because it was damaged but he would order me one. When it came in it didn't have the expansion joints (cracks) so I ended up bringing it home & sawing the "cracks" in myself. :~(
