Yep, you are right. lol  Guess I was thinkin if the loader had a capacity of 3800 lbs, a person might guess the pile would be heavier than that. Or if the loader could lift 3 ton, it should weigh more than 3 ton. Hydraulic / lift  capacity of the tractor and/or loader might be a clue as to how heavy the pile would be that it could not lift it.
