| One of my pet peeves in a seed book, is when a company says "suitable for all soil types and rotations"
I HATE that statement, and it's pretty likely that I won't buy that hybrid, because I don't know where to place it... If it's a racehorse variety, just tell me, so I don't place it in a field that it will fail in.
Also, another note, I don't know what soil types you farm, but regarding the 2 hybrids you mentioned Croplan 421 VT3 and DKC 52-40. They are offensive varieties and need to be kept on highly productive soils. If you have more sandy soil types Croplan 4421VT3 and DKC 51-39 might be a better fit. Anyway, just my Opinion.... :)
