As advised by several others  it means  No Text.  

The poster has put it there on the subject line to indicate that his entire  response is contained within the subject line, and there is nothing to read  in the message body.  

 As far as I can see,  this  is only of value for readers using the  Threaded viewing option, who  have to open each post  or response to view the content . 

Personally, I  prefer that  method, but many use the Flat or Nested  options where the  content is  already displayed. 
This renders  the advisement that  there is nothing contained in the body of the post  somewhat redundant.
