i came across a used one that uses parker style fittings. you can buy fittings through a&i also. do you save money, that is a hard term to qualify. i am a younger individual that i believe it will pay over time. how do you qualify breaking down late in the day or on the weekend and not being able to get finished up with the rain on the way. in my opinion there are worse things guys could buy with some extra income. i think tools will always pay for themselves if you use them. one thing i did not see mentioned was if you have one, you probably will be replacing hoses on equipment before they break if they look bad to start with. you break a hose and lose several gal of hyd fluid at 10-15 dollars a gal, it doesnt take long to spend a pile of money there. i dont regret the money i have invested in mine. check around some of the outfits that sell hose and fittings, they will through in a crimper for free if you buy several dollars worth of hose and fittings.
