we are getting checked for our second year in a row. basically these people dont know **** about agriculture. all they have to go by is the criteria list that you looked at when you signed up. so go down the list and give them some or any kind of info you can come up with for each practice.
I noticed that too. My chore this year was to inject phos under the soil surface. The NRCS guy asked how are you going to do that in no-till? I told him easy, Yetter 2995 coulters, he looked at me puzzled and the next time I saw him he a had a pic of what he thought I was going to use. The way he acted I thought I would have to go get him a cookie as a reward, nice guy but sheesh, sure isn't a farm kid. |
