We plant some fields in 22" rows and some times it is the same seed we solid seed with air seeder in 7" spacing, more by soil type then seed traits so far. Have tried combining at angles by usally straight with rows. Again depends on field pretty easy to try and see which direction leaves more beans on the ground.
