Do any of you ever notice food products such as flour and meal picking up off flavors and scents from being stored either at the warehouse or grocery store with stuff such as soap products and cleaning supplies that are heavily scented. In the past month or so we have gotten two different products that do me wasn't fit for human consumption because of this. My wife made a big pot of chicken and dumplings today and use a baking mix for the dumplings. Of course we didn't notice that the mix had the off smell and taste untill we had supper tonight. I just don't understand why everything has to be so heavily scented and perfumed. |
