Subject: Tiles on the basement floor?

Rosemont ON
The tiles on the basement floor are heaving and cant figure out why. Moved into the house this summer and everthing was good, no sign of any problems all summer until I started the wood stove this fall. Than I noticed a hollow sound as you walked across it and noticed that the tiles had lifted, as the fall went on, the area got bigger. So I chipped the grout around one of the lifted tiles to see what was going on excpecting to find moisture or a bad floor. Nothing, it was dry and solid. All we can thing of is a bad batch of glue allowed them not to stick and know the heat has made them expand. Any ideas on causes, cures, and fix's? TIA
