West Texas | The cab on the Cat smaller???? I don't think so!
You either have a very, very salty 8410 or something is way wrong with that Cat. Our MT 745 @205 PTO HP will keep up with our 8420's (235 hp)and 8430 unless conditions are ideal for tires and the wheel tractors can put all their power down. (almost never!) And even then it will keep up at times but you can tell it lacks the ponies then vs the JD's.
You do know that you can load that Cat down to about 1850 RPMS don't you? That's when it really starts to pull!! You don't have to keep them revved like a JD at 2000 RPM's. | |
