Just put a JD complete reman engine in our 8410. It dynoed 290 and held for 30 minutes. Tech said he could have pushed it more, but figured 290 was enough. Never dynoed it before the new engine, but it seems just as stout. Still puts our 8420 to shame. I have never been in a Cat 765, but I know the JD 8X10 series seemed to run well above rated.
