SW Saskatchewan | Dwain Lingenfelter was a local boy from Shaunavon that represented our constituency for a while. I voted for Sonny Anderson in 1975 and 1978. In 1982 we were so far out of the action that we had no idea that Grant Devine was going to win.
Remember Elmer Knudsen and the Western Canadian Concept-well Barry Dixon ran in our constituency in 1982, Lingenfelter won with a handful of votes after the vote split, Barry Dixon becomes a VP of the federal NDP. Don't count Dwain out-he is a no holds barred, out behind the beer parlour scrapper that isn't constrained by any soft and cuddly feelings.-Just take notice how he won the provincial leadership.
So things are not always what they seem and there will always be a few people that will let their emotions over ride there judgement and make the wrong choice.
