Subject: RE: derivitives bomb

Pittsburg, Kansas

That is the 64,000 dollar question and one of two reasons I have followed this thing as much as I have for the last three years. Before then, I hardly gave any thought to politics and the banking industry. I was pretty much like 99.9% of the rest of the population.

When things go south, no one will be spared, including farmers. The questions in my mind is when will the tough years come and how best to prepare for them. If a person is prepared, adversity can offer opportunities. I would at least like the opportunity to get through this with my scalp intact, with as much buying power and standard of living I enjoy now. I think a LOT of people are going to be looking at a significantly lower standard of living.

These are not just boiler room discussions for me. What the value of our money is and how we handle the situation will make all the difference in the world in our profitability and living standards.

John
