North Central Illinois | Yeah, I know. We were very much blessed. There was a fair amount of 140 to 160 corn around here this year which is pretty unusual. I also know of a few 100 bu yields. Just depended on planting date, heavy June rains, wind damage and who was lucky enough to catch a shower this summer. Record bean yields I attribute to our lack of disease from being dry from late June to around August 20th. Then the rains came and apparently the timing was perfect. | |
