One possible positive aspect of the grains portion of the commodities complex is that demand could remain strong when other commodities drop off. Hungry people don't make for pleasant conditions for politicians so I expect the food chain to remain intact. I don't worry about an economic problem causing prices to drop as much as I do a massive crop causing inventories to raise or some sort of government action (embargos, ethanol, trade restrictions, price fixing, who knows what mischief they can cause).
