Baldwin City, KS | Deer move pretty damned fast. I remember driving on 69 hwy once and saw what looked like a large piece of cardboard bouncing off of cars in all three lanes. At first glance it was cardboard blowing in the wind, but after my eyes adjusted, it was a deer that had went for it. The first car got it airborne and the rest kind of kept it that way. I could easily see not getting shut down in time to keep one out of a cornhead. Probably took a good second to figure out what had just happened. | |
