| I'm an hour north of I-90. Just off HWY 52, 35 miles south of St. Paul.
I've been 100% no-tilling (Martin system) for 6 years now. Learned a lot from you and others on this board (and the No-Till Farmer board archives) before I made the change, and since. For example, the importance of winter annual control through fall herbicide applications, and getting 1/4 to 1/3 of my N down early with the planter. Full time dad & husband, career with a cereal manufacturer during the days, and a small time corn & soybean farmer on the nights and weekends. Neighbor does the combining and grain cart (he's been harvesting for me/dad/uncle for 25 years now) and he does a great job and really works with me and my schedule - I'm never last to get done unless I choose to be. I do the planting, fertilizing, scouting and spraying myself. I actually took the pics throughout the weekend here and there as I had a chance. I was able to put togther a bigger crew this weekend with help from my brother, dad & uncle.
