You talking commercial or a few hundred a year?

Ration needs to be pretty hot at the beginning but back it down towards the end.

From what weight to what weight?

How many?

The warmer it is and the better ventilation the less feed they eat and the faster they grow.

Last ones I grew were about 3 lbs of feed per pound a gain but some genetics will eat 4 and the best will do a little under 3. Lots of clean fresh water very important and clean pens.

I am expecting a worse winter, Almanac is almost scarey but you know how that goes. It has been dry and hot so long I expect cold and a lot of moisture to average it out.

I wouldn't want a thousand head on feed this winter without a generator system here.

I have friends and managers who do this for a living, can put you in touch if you need it, just drop me an email.

There are several thousand head on feed just down the road but the only pigs in these parts and our country was number one in Ohio at one time. They took all those signs down, now Iowa is 10 times bigger than we were...
