My 2 year old Kenmore from Sears & Roebuck is doing OK. The long cycle is 69 minutes with a double rinse. Sometimes clothes go in so filthy they would stand up without being on a person and they come out clean. No center agitator, just a lump on the bottom of the tub.
You could try less clothes per load, that helps also.
