Missouri | Why would you want to turn the autoswath off? Even if you are running full swaths when you get to the end it shuts the area off as soon as you get into something you already harvested instead of waiting for the header height sensor to turn it off. If you are actually wanting to be closer on your acres with a 25' head and you say most of the time you are leaving a foot hanging out set up a configuration with a 24 ft head. There is no need to recalibrate the combine if you just put in a different size head. The sensitivity setting in the autoswath tells the monitor how precise of a reciever you have and that is what controls how the autoswath is shut down. Most people use the setting of 3 and with that setting it will only shut down 20 percent at a time so that is why it wont shut down until you get 5 ft shorter. If you increased the sensitivity setting it would shut down 10 percent at a time but if you read in the monitor where you adjust the setting they only reccomend using a higher setting with more accurate recievers if you are running RTK or something of that nature. | |
