Le Mars, IA
I have had three problems with ours after 900 acres. The first thing that went wrong was I had three fingers come out of the auger at different times. Seemed to be the same one twice if I remember right. I couldn't get new ones so I stole one from each end and made it work. Lately I have had green stems get bunched up between the two stripper plates in the back and bottom of the head and when that happens the beans ride up and over the auger instead of staying behind. That makes it feed like crap. The only other complaint that I have is that it seems to want to push trash in front of the sickle mainly on the right and left sides. Sometimes it does it in the middle but not as often. We checked the angle of the head and it seems to be running where it is supposed to. Other than that I really like the way it cuts.
