WC MN

True........... but,

"our 9860 with 635 header is shattering beans as the reel pushes the plants against the auger. as the reel on the draper head pushes the plants back to the canvases the canvases take the plants to the center of the head without the constant batting back of the reel. the draper fed enough better that we could go over 1/2 mph faster. pretty impressive head."

Uhh, this is what Mac don guys have been saying for 5+ years now.    Its kinda like the guys who really think Zero turn lawn mowers are the cats azz....... since deere came out with one a few years ago.

Even though Zero turns have been around forever.

Edit: at the risk of sounding like a smart butt, the reason the "deere bashers" come out on occasions like this is because its similar to putting a B student into special ed classes.  I realize some may not be in the know due to dealer location and loyalty.....  Its the following the heard mentality that is easy to pick on....

With my personality, well,,,,,,,,,, its just fun to do.

I know a guy who bought a deere 20 series track because of the seat.   When I priced one, that is the only thing the salesman could think of to say that made the machine what it was/is......  (special ed classes)

Hope your harvest is safe, fast, and bountifull.

Good luck
