Kingston, Iowa | Some of my experience has come from using an EZ Steer, which I always had better results from, by waiting until I lined it up before engaging. Same way with the 2630 running on SF1, I've gotten into the habit of lining up either on the planter mark when planting beans or on the edge of the swath when cutting beans. For tillage applications on waas or SF1 and planting corn with RTK, I do let the tractor position me.
I have a friend that actually row crop cultivates on SF1. He has to recenter his line every time but is able to do it. | |
