I believe by rooting the device you can unlock the full version and therefore have a cheap tablet. But you will still miss features like camera and 3g. Since I don't care about a camera or 3g on a tablet, I might be interested in this thing. I'm waiting for reviews to tell me how good the screen is. The other thing on my desire list is whether it has a built-in SD card reader. The price has my attention. My wife has expressed an interest in a book reader device that can also show photos (maybe to get my interest?). At that price, we may be able to justify a couple different special purpose devices. |
